TAGHIVE | Meet the Founders - SmartTag, Smart Class for kids - one click sns

TagHive is a recent spin off from Samsung Electronics. The team is on a mission to boost everyday experiences with a smart tag solution -  a combination of smart tag, a smart application and back-end analytics.

Two distinct solutions that the team is currently working on are :

· TagPLUS – an IoT Platform for Toys, and   
· TagLEAP – a low-cost effective technology solution to power the future classrooms.

Once we have cracked the Future of Play and Future of Classroom Learning, we will move on to other everyday experiences not only of kids but also those of adults. Stay tuned and if you have ideas on which experience we should target next, please do reach out to us. Thank you!

Pankaj Agarwal (Co-Founder & CEO)  
Pankaj is a result-oriented balanced leader with the perfect blend of cutting edge technology and world class management fueled by innovation and the passion to excel. He is a serial inventor with names on 40+ US patent applications, mostly in the domain of smart phones and smart TVs. He is also a trained magician and is fluent in Korean. Pankaj has a B.Tech degree in EE from IIT Kanpur, MS from Seoul National University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is excited to lead TagHive in making a positive difference to this world.

Danny Nam (Co-Founder & COO)
Danny is leading operations and partnerships for TagHive. He brings rich experiences in content service planning and major partnerships in video contents industry from his 7 year stint at Samsung. He majored English literature in Korea University and loves reading Shakespeare and Scuba diving. He is living happily with sharp advisors (his better half who is a software engineer and his picky 4 year old son) for the upcoming products of TagHive.

Kids interact with their tags with four simple actions: “click”, “long press”, “shake” and “bump”. Actions are instantly relayed to the TagPlus app to execute the corresponding, pre-programmed play scenarios. FUNCTIONALITY “Click” opens the social media interface where kids can easily upload their own creations and see creations of other kids playing with the same toy .
